Anne Marie Duff

Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actress and narration. Duff began her career in television in late 1990s after graduating Drama Centre London. She was on the show Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on the 8th of October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff, born 8 October 1970 in London is an English actress who works on stage as well as the screen. Her debut role in the screen in the screen was Fiona Gallagher from the UK series Shameless in the series' initial two seasons. She then played Queen Elizabeth I on the television series The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the television show From Darkness in 2015. Duff played roles in movies such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes from a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2015). The Virgin Queen, Shameless The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy Suffragette, and The Last Station garnered Duff BAFTA nominations as Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actress. The History of Mr Polly (2007) was her BAFTA Cymru Award-winning performance in Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff has been a successful award-winning English Actress who created her own mark on TV, stage and on the radio. She gained mainstream attention for her role as Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama television show Shameless as well as the role of Queen Elizabeth on the television show The Virgin Queen.
